National Bank Announces the Closure of Pelican Mall Branch and the Opening of the FirstEver Express Banking Center in St. Kitts
Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 6, 2024 — Since its inception in 1971, the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (National Bank) has grown to become one of the largest indigenous banks in the OECS. This was achieved through the strategic build-out of branches at various locations in local communities, to better serve its customers. One such location was the Pelican Mall Branch, which officially opened on July 9 th, 1992. Conveniently located near Port Zante, the Pelican Mall Branch quickly became an important member of the Bank’s network of branches, providing banking services to numerous customers. Thirty-two years later, the Pelican Mall Branch will cease operations at the end of business day Friday September 6th, 2024.

The Bank’s Main Branch is fully equipped and staffed to ensure a seamless transition and to continue to deliver the exceptional service that customers have come to expect.
National Bank continues to expand and innovate with a significant enhancement to its service offerings as it opens the Federation’s first-ever Express Banking Center at Bird Rock. This strategic move marks a new chapter in the Bank’s ongoing commitment to providing faster, more convenient banking solutions to its valued customers.
