Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 6, 2025 — The St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Group of Companies is pleased to announce an exciting initiative to observe the 2025 International Day of Education global theme, “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation.”

As part of this year’s observance, National Bank Group of Companies will host a Youth Voices Panel on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. This interactive event aims to engage Grade 6 students, throughout the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, in meaningful discussions about the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on education while exploring the challenges and opportunities of preserving human agency in an automated world.

The event will feature student representation from each zone in St. Kitts and Nevis, to constitute a panel of 12 students (8 from St. Kitts and 4 from Nevis). This initiative underscores the Group’s commitment to empowering young leaders and highlighting the intersection of technology and education.

The Group has invited the Ministry of Education to collaborate on this impactful endeavour, emphasizing the importance of partnership in shaping the educational experiences of the nation’s youth.
