David Lake, an alumnus with honours from the University of the West Indies, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering. His journey commenced as a standout Plant Manager at the St. Kitts Bottling Company Limited, authorized bottler of Coca Cola. Taking a sabbatical to pursue advanced studies, Mr. Lake earned a Master of Science Degree in Integrated Management Systems from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Mr. Lake’s ascent continued with his role as the Head of Customer Services at Cable & Wireless St. Kitts & Nevis Limited, swiftly progressing to the position of Vice President Mobile, Consumer Sales, and Marketing. Following an impactful tenure, he ascended to the role of General Manager, steering Cable & Wireless St. Kitts & Nevis Limited for a remarkable 14 years, solidifying his status as the longest-serving GM. Under his strategic guidance, the business flourished into the Eastern Caribbean’s most consistently profitable C&W business unit.

Beyond his corporate prowess, David Lake has carved a legacy as a former President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where he also chaired its Manufacturing Division. His influence extended to academia, serving on the Advisory Committee for the Division of Arts Sciences and General Studies at Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, and contributing to the financial stewardship of St. Kitts Music. Presently, Mr. Lake holds the important position of Vice President of the Council of Management for the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society, demonstrating his commitment to heritage conservation. Additionally, Mr. Lake proudly aligns himself with the Men of Bethesda, a Moravian Church group focused on charitable outreach within the Cayon Community.
