Ermelin Sebastian-Duggins holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Saint Mary’s University, Nova Scotia, Canada, a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons.) from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad.

In 2008 she joined the St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank Limited as an Associate Counsel Her areas of focus include property law, company law, banking law, trust law and insurance law. Sebastian-Duggins is also council member of the St. Kitts-Nevis Bar Association and the Deputy Chairperson of the Disciplinary Committee for the St. Kitts Nevis Football Association.

Sebastian currently holds the position of Chief Legal Counsel and is primarily responsible for providing legal advice to the bank and its subsidiaries, drafting contracts and securities documents and preparing legal strategies and representation for the bank and its subsidiaries at the Magistrate’s Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
